Lady Gaga’s album touched Gold in India

Lady Gaga was recently presented a Gold plaque by Devraj Sanyal, Managing Director, Universal Music India, and Sunil D’Sa, Vice President - Marketing during Lady Gaga’s promotional tour in Singapore where she gave a high-energy 45-minute performance at the Expo Hall, to over 3000 fans.

Gaga’s latest album Born This Way, which has spawned the hits Born This Way and Judas, was released on May 23 globally and has already sold over 1.5 million albums and 5.5 million singles worldwide. In India too, the album has hit Gold status within just six weeks of release on physical format.

The Indian version of the new album Born This Way includes the Born This Way - Indian Mix, which is remixed by Salim-Sulaiman.
