Terrorism, humanitarian issues high on Krishna’s agenda
New Delhi, July 13: Terrorism that continues to emanate from Pakistani soil will be high on the agenda of External Affairs Minister S M Krishna as he embarks on a mission to Pakistan tomorrow, in an effort to bridge the trust deficit that has bedeviled the ties between the two countries.
Krishna’s three-day visit to Islamabad to hold talks with his Pakistani counterpart Shah Mahmood Qureshi, will also focus on humanitarian issues such as people-to-people contact, exchange of prisoners and bilateral trade. But from New Delhi’s point of view terrorism will be the key issue.
