Vice president to attend AMU's alumni summit

Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) Oct 18, an official said on Saturday.
"In the two-day World Summit of AMU, which will be inaugurated by Ansari, alumni from as many as 20 countries will participate," university spokesperson Rahat Abrar told sources.
An AMU alumnus, Ansari also served the varsity as its vice-chancellor from May 2000 to March 2002.
The two-day summit will deliberate on the ways and means of placing AMU on the global educational map, the official said.
Governor of Uttar Pradesh T.V. Rajeswar, governor of Jharkhand Sibtey Razi and chairman of National Minority Commission Shafi Qureshi will also participate in the summit, said the official. IANS
